Pañcaskandha (पञ्चस्कन्ध]) refers to the “five components” as defined in the Dharma-saṃgraha (section 22):


rūpa (bodily-form),

vedanā (feelings),

saṃjñā (perceptions),

saṃskāra (volitions),

vijñāna (consciousness).
