Ababa Niraya: A name given not to a special purgatory but to a period of time in Avīci.

One term of Ababa is equal to four hundred of Abbuda; an Abbuda being reckoned as the time taken to remove twenty Kosalan Khāris (equal to a cartload) of tila-seeds, taking one seed at the end of each century.
