object-determining mental factors (Skt: vishayapratiniyama-chaitta; Tib: sem-jung yül nge)

One of the six groups of mental factors, the factor that enhances the experience of the object in some way.

There are five: aspiration, belief, mindfulness, stabilization, and wisdom.
