The Saddhammopāyana (Gift of the Good Dhamma) is a Pāḷi poem composed in Sri Lanka in 12th century. The author, Mahāthera Ānanda is thought to have been a monk of the Abhayagiri sect rather than a Theravadin. The poem has 621 verses in 19 chapters dealing with subjects such as the benefits of generosity, meditation, rejoicing in the good of others, teachings the Dhamma to others, etc. and seems to have been written with monks and lay people in mind.

Saddhammopāyana, translated by A. A. Hazlewood, Journal of the Pali Text Society, 1988.
