The appearing object (Skt. pratibhāsaviṣaya; Tib. སྣང་ཡུལ་, Wyl. snang yul), one of the four types of object, is defined as (rang 'dzin shes pa la rnam pa 'char ba'i yul) In general, an object that appears to a mind. In the context of generation stage meditation, the appearing object is the mandala and Deities
