Buddhadeva The first Chinese scholar Yen-Fo-tiao33 (Buddhadeva) was an assistant of An-Huen.He learnt sanskrit and could recite thr whole of the Pratimoksha. a member of the Mahimsasaka sect. He was one of the three monks - the others being Atthadassi and Buddhamitta - at whose suggestion the Jatakatthakatha was written. J.i.1.
