NGEN-SONG JONG GYEL KÜN-RIK NAM-NANG-DZAY

Conqueror who purifies the lower realms, all-knowing Vairochana,

DE-DEN ZHING GI GÖN-PO Ö-PAK-MEY

Lord of the blissful field, Amitābha,

DUK-SUM NAY SEL SANG-GYAY MEN GYI LA

Eliminator of the sickness of the three poisons, Buddha Bhaishajyaguru:

DRO-WAY GÖN-PO SUM LA GÜ CHHAK TS’HEL

To the Three Protectors of Beings, I bow down with devotion.

[[[Vairochana’s]] dhārani:]

OM NAMO BHAGAVATE/ SARVA DURGA TIVA RISHODHANI RĀJAYA/ TATHĀGATĀYA/ ARHATE SAMYAKSAMBUDDHAYA/ TADYATHĀ/ OM SHODHANI SHODHANI/ SARVA PĀPAM VISHODHANI/ SHUDDHE VISHUDDHE/ SARVA KARMĀH ĀVARANĀ VISHODHANI SVĀHĀ/ OM SARVA VID SARVA ĀVARANĀ VISHODHANI HANA HŪM PHAT

and [[[Amitābha’s]] dhārani]

OM AMRITA PRABHE AMRITA HŪM

and [[[Medicine Buddha’s]] dhārani]

OM NAMO BHAGAVATE BHAISHAJYE GURU VAIDŪRYA PRABHA RĀJAYA/ TATHĀGATAYA/ ARHATE SAMYAKSAMBUDDHĀYA/ TADYATHĀ/ OM BHAISHAJYE BHAISHAJYE MAHĀBHAISHAIJYE BHAISHAJYE RĀJA SAMUNG-GATE SVĀHĀ

This is the long dhārani of Medicine Buddha. Otherwise, recite the short one:

TADYATHĀ/ OM BHAISHAJYE BHAISHAJYE/ MAHĀBHAISHJYE BHAISHAJYE RĀJA

SAMUNG-GATE SVĀHĀ

GE-WA DI YII NYUR DU DAK

By this virtue, may I swiftly

DRO-GÖN CHHOK SUM DRUP GYUR NAY

Accomplish the Supreme Three Protectors of Beings,

DRO-WA CHIK KYANG MA-LÜ-PA

And through that, may I establish all beings without a single exception

DE YI SA LA GÖ-PAR SHOK

On that same level.

With that, make prayers of dedication.

KHYEY LA TÖ CHING SÖL-WA-TAP-PAY T’HÜ

Through the power of praising and supplicating you,

DAK SOK GANG-DU NAY-PAY SA-CHHOK DER

For myself and all others, in whatever places we live,

NAY DANG ÜL-P’HONG T’HAP-TSÖ ZHI-WA DANG

May sickness, poverty, and fighting be pacified,

CHHÖ DANG TRA-SHII P’HEL-WAR DZAY DU SÖL

And may Dharma and auspiciousness increase, I pray.

With that, make wishes and aspirations.

From the forthcoming book, The Compendium of Daily Name-Recitation and Dhārani Practices, by the 7th Panchen Lama.
